Bio

My love of drawing & painting started in grammar school.I went to a catholic school and started showing my drawings and pastel pieces to the nuns in 4th grade.I ended up through the grammar school years, being the one to draw,paint pictures for the school,posters,signs,etc.My other studies suffered but i was happy doing what i loved.I was developing the art of seeing.

I continued through the years drawing,painting,working with pastels.Studied on my own with drawing books,pastels,painting.Had a long sabbatical from the visual arts and studied music.I resumed drawing,painting in 2003.I met a artist friend in 2007 that was a studied artist and studied privately with her for two and a half years.That was an eye opening experience.I never studied at an art school and all my experiences are from what i see and living life close to the edge.I continue to learn,study, and refine my sense of the visual with acrylics,oils,pastels pencil,colors,time and space.
